摘要：The fusion of data science and location-based technologies is redefining the landscape of tourism research and management. This talk delves into how spatial data—ranging from geotagged photos to venue check-ins—can be harnessed through advanced analytics to reveal nuanced traveler behaviors and preferences. Featuring cutting-edge case studies from the TULIP Lab, we will explore methodologies such as group behavior pattern recognition, temporal trend mining, and the identification of emergent tourism dynamics using large-scale datasets. Beyond the analytical power, the session also addresses critical privacy considerations, emphasizing the ethical use of personal location data. Participants will gain valuable insights into how AI-driven location analytics can revolutionize destination management, enhance marketing precision, and enable the creation of smarter, more responsive tourism experiences.
个人简介：Gang Li 李罡，澳大利亚迪肯大学学术委员会成员，信息技术皇冠博彩公司 教授、担任网络安全研究中心（Deakin Cyber）人工智能安全首席教授。历任澳大利亚迪肯大学理工学科博士培养主任、Data to Intelligence数据智能研究中心主任。主要从事隐私保护、数据发掘、商业智能、机器学习等方面的研究。其研究受到澳洲ARC、印度Spark，香港GRF项目资助，持有一项国际专利，已在包括JAIR, CVPR, IJCAI, KDD、ICDM、SDM、VLDB, MLJ等在内的国际重要会议和刊物上发表论文近 200篇，十次作为指导教师荣获最佳论文奖。担任Springer CCIS系列丛书责任编委，担任SCI期刊Cyber Security (Springer)、Decision Support Systems（Elsevier）、 Tourism Management （Elsevier）、Journal of Travel Research (Sage)、Asia Pacific Journal of Travel Research (Taylor & Francis)等学术期刊的副编辑和杂志编委。担任IEEE计算智能学会数据挖掘与大数据分析DMTC技术委员会委员（2017-2018, 2025-副主席）、IEEE SMC学会工业信息系统（TCEIS）技术委员会委员、IEEE Task Force on Educational Data Mining主席 (2020-2024)。
